Friendship Friendship

made for the competition Present yourself & tell what street photography means to you?
I shoot street photography in order to make the invisible visible. By that I mean, I focus on people who are so permanent a fixture on the street that they become members of the "unseen", the ignored, the urban "other". When I shoot people who occupy society's margins, I try in most cases to ask their permission. Street photography for me is about making connections. For many people, their street friends are the only "family" they have. Such is the case here.
